Bio
The Georges are a Central Texas roots rockabilly band formed in 2008 when Jason George’s family band shifted toward music people from around the world could dance to. Their sound blends country and roots rock with pop and British Invasion jangle, delivered through high-energy performances. The band has held a Gruene Hall residency since 2010 and a monthly residency at The Devil’s Backbone. The lineup features co-founder and former Two Tons of Steel lead guitarist Dennis Fallon, former Two Tons drummer Chris Dodds, and Vance Hazen on upright bass. Their 2019 album, Los Jorges, was produced by Pat Manske and recorded at The Zone in Dripping Springs, Texas.
