Aquarius is a six-member late-60s tribute built around the music and artists from the Monterey Pop to Woodstock era. With full rock instrumentation, rich harmonies, costumes, wardrobe changes, and a fast-paced show, they fit concerts in the park, festivals, casinos, and private events.
Aquarius is a six-member tribute to the music and artists of the late 60s, drawing on the period between the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 and Woodstock in 1969. The show centers on the spirit and signature hits of that era, with songs associated with artists including The Mamas & the Papas, Roy Orbison, Steppenwolf, The Moody Blues, The Guess Who, and Joe Cocker, along with performances in the style of Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, John Fogerty, and Jimi Hendrix.
Built for concerts in the park, street festivals, casinos, and private events, Aquarius has played for both large and small audiences. The presentation combines colorful costumes, wardrobe changes, a fast-moving set, and on-stage banter that reflects the tone of the period.
Musically, the band uses full rock instrumentation with two guitars, bass, keyboards, and drums, backed by rich vocal harmonies. Aquarius performs dozens of well-known songs from the era, aiming to recreate the sound, look, and energy that continue to connect with listeners who experienced the late 60s and younger audiences discovering the music for the first time.
