CoverBandsUSA.com — Online Booking Terms
1. Who Operates This Site
CoverBandsUSA.com is owned and operated by Premier Tributes LLC, a California limited liability company and a talent agency licensed by the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, License No. TA-LR-1001316885.
Every booking arranged through this site is an agency booking under that license, documented on our standard agreement forms.
This site is not a marketplace or a listing service. It is a licensed talent agency's booking platform that happens to work online.
2. How Booking Works Here
1. Browse. Search by act type, genre, location, date, and budget.
2. Select. Choose one act or several to request quotes from. Selecting an act commits you to nothing.
3. Request. Tell us your event date, venue, location, and requirements. We forward your request to the acts you selected.
4. Receive quotes. Each act responds with its fee and any conditions — travel, production, set lengths, hospitality. We send those to you.
5. Accept. When you accept an act's terms, we generate a written engagement agreement between you and that performer.
6. Confirm. The booking is confirmed when the agreement is signed and the deposit is received. Until then nothing is held.
At every step, Premier Tributes is acting as the performer's agent. Our staff are available to answer questions throughout.
3. Fees
Performers pay a commission of fifteen percent (15%) of the engagement fee, in accordance with our fee schedule filed with the California Labor Commissioner. This is our compensation for acting as their agent.
Clients pay no booking fee, service fee, or platform fee to Premier Tributes. The amount you pay is the fee quoted by the performer, plus any travel, production, or other costs itemized in your agreement.
Performers pay us nothing to be listed. There is no listing fee, subscription, featured placement, or paid prominence of any kind on this site. Search results are ordered by how well each act matches what you searched for, never by payment.
4. Quotes and Availability
Rates shown before you request a quote are estimates. Actual fees depend on date, location, travel distance, production requirements, and performance length.
Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote. Availability is not held while a quote is outstanding — dates are confirmed on a first-signed basis.
Submitting a request or receiving a quote creates no commitment by anyone.
5. The Engagement Agreement
The agreement generated when you accept a quote is between you and the performer, with Premier Tributes as the performer's agent. It sets out the act, date, times, location, fee, deposit, technical requirements, and cancellation terms.
Read it before signing, including the technical rider. Most day-of problems come from a rider requirement nobody arranged.
The signed agreement governs your engagement. Where it conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls.
6. Payment
Deposit due on signing, in the amount stated in your agreement. Balance due as stated in your agreement. Additional costs — travel, lodging, backline, sound and lighting — are stated in your agreement; if not stated, they are not included.
Payment instructions are stated in your agreement. Late amounts may accrue interest at the rate stated in your agreement, up to the legal maximum.
7. Cancellation
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are in your agreement and typically scale with proximity to the event date.
If the performer cancels other than for a force majeure cause, we will supply a comparable replacement act at no additional cost, or refund all amounts paid, at your election.
Force majeure — neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, death or serious illness, government order, public health closure, venue closure, or transport failure.
8. Communication Through the Site
Messages between you and a performer pass through our system so we can document the engagement as agent, as a licensed agency is expected to do.
You may contact a performer directly at any time. We do not prohibit off-platform communication and do not charge a fee for booking arranged elsewhere. If you book an act you found here directly with them, that is between you and them.
9. Performer Profiles
Profiles are supplied by performers through WorkingBands.ai, an independent software company that provides our profile engine. WorkingBands.ai is not a talent agency, is not party to any booking, and receives no share of any engagement fee or commission.
We do not independently verify profile content. Confirm anything material before booking.
10. Tribute and Cover Acts
Many acts on this site are tribute or cover acts. They are not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original artists whose material they perform, and no such association is claimed or implied. Each act page carries a disclaimer to that effect.
If you promote your event, use the act's own name and materials, and do not suggest the original artist is appearing.
11. Music Licensing
Public performance of copyrighted music generally requires a license from a performing rights organization, customarily held by the venue or event host rather than by the performer or by us. Confirm the venue is licensed.
12. Recording
No audio or video recording, broadcast, streaming, or commercial use of a performance without the performer's prior written consent.
13. Using This Site
You may not scrape or bulk-collect performer or contact data; submit false or fraudulent requests; solicit performers for competing representation; attempt unauthorized access; or use the site unlawfully. We may restrict access for violations.
14. What We Are and Are Not Responsible For
We are responsible for arranging the engagement, documenting it accurately, communicating terms between you and the performer, and administering the booking as agent.
We are not responsible for the artistic content or quality of a performance; the performer's conduct or compliance with venue rules; the accuracy of performer-supplied profile information; or venue conditions.
Performers are independent contractors, not our employees.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREMIER TRIBUTES LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY ENGAGEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE COMMISSION WE RECEIVED ON THAT ENGAGEMENT.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR EVENT COSTS.
Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
