About Us

Band story and booking context

Pollywog Crew is a Los Angeles-based live tribute act to the Beastie Boys, formed in 2012 to honor Adam Yauch’s legacy. The members bring experience fronting their own rap groups and deejaying for KRS-One and Raekwon the Chef of Wu-Tang. Their shows cover timeless anthems and deep-cut favorites, channeling the Beastie Boys’ style, attitude, rebellious fun, and raw stage presence. The crew performs without gimmicks, bringing an honest rap persona rooted in hip-hop culture and delivering a full Beastie Boys Experience.
