About Us

Band story and booking context

Legends of Classic Rock unites members of Great White, XYZ, White Lion, Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper, David Lee Roth, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since 2022, LOCR has toured, headlined the world’s largest cruise ships, and appeared in a national Starbucks campaign in 2025.

Legends of Classic Rock brings together players with deep roots in hard rock history. Across the lineup, the members account for 30 million records sold and a dozen Billboard Hot 100 hits. Their live show draws on those individual catalogs and the era they helped shape.

Since 2022, LOCR has been touring and headlining the world’s largest cruise ships. In 2025, the band reached a wider pop-culture audience through a national Starbucks campaign for the launch of its Iced Energy drink line.

The ad, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the 2004 Glen commercial, featured the band following an office worker named Roy, and later Seth Meyers, with a customized rock version of Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger. The campaign drew more than 40 million streams in its first few weeks and showed the band’s ability to pair hard rock muscle with a sense of humor.

The lineup includes Terry Ilous of Great White and XYZ, Greg D’Angelo of White Lion, Chuck Wright of Quiet Riot and Alice Cooper, Jake Faun of David Lee Roth, and Chris Turbis of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Great White.

Whether they are on TV, aboard Icon of the Seas, or onstage at the Whisky a Go Go, Legends of Classic Rock is built around musicians who are closely tied to the songs and sound of classic hard rock.
